File a Complaint

Open to learners, employers, regulators, and any other stakeholder — no fee, no registration required. Part of our Program Information.

How It Works

  • Acknowledgment: You receive a written acknowledgment within 3 business days.
  • Independent review: Your complaint is assigned to a reviewer who was not involved in the matter you are complaining about.
  • Resolution: We target resolution within 30 days. Complex matters may take longer — if so, we'll tell you.
  • Outcome: You are informed of the outcome in writing.
  • No retaliation: Filing a complaint does not prejudice your standing in the program. Complaints alleging discrimination are prioritized (see our Nondiscrimination Policy).

Disagree with a decision we made (exam result, certificate denial, accommodations denial, or certificate invalidation)? Use our Appeals process instead.
