What Can Be Appealed
- Examination results
- Denial of certificate issuance
- Denial of accommodations
- Certificate invalidation
How It Works
- Filing window: Submit your appeal within 30 days of the decision, stating the decision appealed and the grounds. You may submit supporting information.
- Acknowledgment: Written acknowledgment within 3 business days.
- Independent decision-maker: Your appeal is decided by a person different from — and where practicable senior to — anyone involved in the original decision.
- Decision: Issued in writing within 30 days, with rationale. The decision is final within the program but does not limit your legal rights.
- No retaliation: Filing an appeal does not prejudice your standing in the program.
